Welcome to wykehamist.com. We provide external web and email hosting for staff and men of Winchester College. This service is provided free of charge, save for a nominal (£5.00) set up fee. Technical support will be available, should you need it. To take advantage of this service—provided you are in some way related to Winchester College—you are invited to request support (through our form) detailing your situation.
Web.
We provide top-quality web hosting, based in the USA. Your sites will be hosted on screamingly fast servers, that run the most up-to-date software currently available. A quick overview of what we provide:

- PHP4/PHP5/Perl/Python/Ruby (all latest versions)
- MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQLite/BerkeleyDB (latest stable versions)
- Disk space will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis (over 75Mb may require extra payment)
We can provide two types of service for web hosting.
- We manage your content, and provide you with access to your files via a web interface.
- We give you a full account, and you can manage your own content via SFTP/SCP/FTP. (Web interface also provided)
Email.
If you sign up for web hosting with us, you will automatically be given a yourname@wykehamist.com email address. You can have as many mail aliases as you want, and access will be via webmail/IMAP/POP (although it's possible that only webmail will be accessible from inside the college).
Alternatively, if you don't want web hosting, you can just request mail hosting. To do this, simply contact us with your desired address, and we'll get right back to you
